Around us, life bursts with miracles - dew drops collected on petals from the last night, a ray of sunshine, a leaf, a butterfly, laughter, raindrops. If we live in awareness, it is easy to see miracles everywhere.
Aren't many gardens beautiful because they are imperfect? Aren't the strange, new flowers that arise by mistake or misadventure as pleasing as well-tended and planned?
You have made a place in my heart where I thought there was no room for anything else. You have made flowers grow where I cultivated dust and stones. Remember this, on this journey you insist on making.
By plucking petals, one does not gather the beauty of the flower.
The splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the Lily do not rob the little flowers in the garden of their beauty nor their charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.
Please open your eyes and see the beauty that exists in your surroundings, before it closes forever.
